They focus on prevention and wellbeing, increasing productivity and performance, and reducing time lost to injuries and accidents, helping you get back to work, sport and a healthy life faster.

Kinesiologists are the human movement professionals!

My name is Brett, I am a 2020 graduate from a Bachelors Degree in Athletic Therapy. I am currently a Registered Kinesiologist and in school for Massage Therapy. I’ve worked with multiple teams from lacrosse, hockey, football to cheerleading. You may recognize me from working with the medical team at the Cheer Evolution competitions.

What made you want to get into the field ? Specifically with sports. From being in sports all my life and experiencing injuries myself, I’ve always wanted to know more on how I could help myself with my own injuries and how I can return to sports faster. By following my passion in anatomy and gaining the education about the human body, I’ve discovered an endless world of knowledge regarding human kinetics and ways to prevent, rehabilitate, and manage injuries. I find this information very exciting and I am very passionate in continuing my education to assist athletes with their injuries.

What is your favourite sport, exercise or activity I grew up participating in multiple sports, but cheerleading is by far my favourite. After cheering I participated in CrossFit and yoga.

Fun fact I did cheerleading for 11years and my last 3 years I cheered at CPA on their first level 5 team that went to worlds.
